Working through Chunghwa Telecom, Tainan's education bureau standardized campus wireless across its elementary and middle schools on Edgecore controllers, indoor and outdoor APs, and 10GbE switching, all administered centrally via ECNMS. The network spans 275 schools with about 6,000 access points reaching classrooms, teaching areas, and playgrounds for e-learning use.
This Japanese school deployed Edgecore 60GHz Terragraph links and Wi-Fi 6 access points through Tokyo partner BeMap to cover its main buildings and two arena buildings, bridging a separate structure about 350 meters away without trenching fiber. The live network supports tablet-based AI and ICT learning with OpenRoaming authentication.

NYCU's Hsinchu campus went live in 2021 as one of the world's first production OpenWiFi networks, running Edgecore EAP101 Wi-Fi 6 access points under a CloudSDK controller for student connectivity. The university and Edgecore also co-run an OpenWiFi development sandbox where graduate students build services against the platform's OpenAPI.
